This was a customers car that we did. The car is 100% stock with just the 50 state legal Edelbrock E-Force supercharger system. The vehicle picked up over 140hp at the tires and over 104ft/lb of torque with this simple bolt on system.

  • how bout a turbonetics turbocharger for a little under $900

  • @carvrjams Thats just a turbocharger- not a whole system. We sell a lot of Turbonetics products as well. They make one of the best turbochargers on the market!

  • the e-force supercharger system costs $6,295.00 are you guys dumb? for that kind of cost, you could have built a high horsepower complete engine. maybe you have way to much money to blow. i dunno. $6,295.87 =143hp = you just got screwed! (:>)

  • @CAMARO30082 Your very mistaken. Your not going to build an engine, first of all, with an option for a power train warranty like the supercharger offers. Furthermore what engine costs $6k that makes makes 400RWHP, not flywheel but rearwheel. Your mistaken and mislead my friend. And lastly, pulling an engine that is perfectly fine and replacing it with a non-emissions friendly motor is a lot of work; I hate to see the shop labor bill for that!

  • @NickTurboTechnology i found a deal thats better. how bout a 525hp for $7,000 and i wll minus 100hp for going threw the transmission and rear end loss. so now im at 425hp at the crank for $7,000 you can find the engine at crateenginedepot(dot)com

  • @CAMARO30082 I'm not sure what your trying to prove? $7k for a motor is still more than the supercharger. The supercharger can move more air than the naturally aspirated engine can. The e-force system has wayyy more potential than any $7k crate engine. But whatever you say, your customer- what ever makes you happy :)

  • @CAMARO30082 You're missing the point. For an owner with a car like this having functioning A/C, cruise, etc is important. They can buy this S/C kit, pay for install, and blow the doors off of most cars on the street. Then drive cross country and enjoy whatever warranty they paid for from Edelbrock. I can get a loan for 35k and buy the 8 second F-body that I know is for sale in Virginia. Has A/C and stereo. Won LSX shootout. Is street legal. Has NO WARRANTY. Big difference.

  • How much would say labor is to install the E-Force blower?

  • jus a question doesnt the gt come with 300hp? forgive my ignoranceand

  • besides, when you're putting down those types of numbers, the average daily driver isn't gonna notice it anyway. You'll pay through the nose to put massive hp to the ground. And in the grand scheme of things, this system is made for the daily driver, not a dedicated track or strip car. I also think that there's something to be said about ease of installation, and the e-force has that in spades. Take care y'all, and be safe.

  • Very nice, this set-up is one that I'm considering for my 08 gt. Sure, u can get higher hp huffers for the same cost or cheaper, but the simple fact is that this system only runs on 5# of boost. That's gonna save tons of wear on the engine. Yeah, you could put a massive Kenny Belle on it and blow the doors off everything in sight, but the fact remains that your mill will be nickle-and-diming you to death long before the Edelbrock will. I'll take the piece of mind over an extra 50 hp any day.

  • @NationalSpeedInc now hold on there gomer pyle. i have seen the eforce superchager built. dont get me wrong its one of the most advanced performance parts i have ever seen. all im saying is dollar verus hp doesnt add up. i think its another toy for rich people. i can build a complete drag car with engine, transmission, third member and run in the low tens for $25,000-$30,000

  • @CAMARO30082 You have a complete lack of understanding and appreciation for simplicity and purpose building. You cannot look at horsepower:dollar ratio on all performance parts, it's much deeper than that when you're speaking in terms of quality. Good work, Turbo Technology, the car seems like it came out great.

  • @NickTurboTechnology nothing against your company or anything. all im saying is that in todays hot rod market that everything is costly. i mean turbos, blowers, and even nitrous is pricey. the bottom line is more dollars more hp. i know its 2010 and inflation but dam! maybe hot rods now days are for rich people. im just an average working 40hrs a week man.
