Mostly deep sky live off screen shots showing what can be seen on a TV / monitor screen. This is an ideal way to show a group of interested people. The scope is a Meade LXD 10" and two cameras were used a special AstroVid camera and also the standard PlanetCam colour camera.
Its fun to try things out and see what you can get and the image of both Mars and the Moon demonstrate very well our Earths own "boiling Atmosphere" .
The B/W camera uses a stacking technique which is an advantage...
Regards

  • wow, the universe is so vast nice video man! good work!

how much $ have you invested on your equipment? keep posting the good videos! :)

  • @EPBmelegorPR - Thanks for your kind comments and I will keep posting.

Regarding the cost in first year about £2k for me in 1998 for the scope but thats all you needed to start and its "the big one" - the "additions" eyepieces, filters, even cameras can be added as birthday or Christmas presents. Its not as bad as you may think and the 2nd hand route would only cost you about £700 for what I have now - so = to only an XBox, Playstation and a few games...

Looking at it that way is it much...

  • nice shots, love that ring nebula :)
