Friends and I living it up in Benson NC.
This was one of the better things I remember being at and anxiously await for next year already.
If you like horses mules and just a good time this place it all that and more than you can imagine.
It was said that 70,000 people attend this event, with something like 15,000 horses and mules taking over the town and local roads.
The people are super friendly, and its a non stop party from the start to finish.
The only town I know of that has a bar you can actually ride your horses to on the east coast!

I grew up around Benson area & been going to Mule Days since 1986 or ' 87. I remember the General Lee car that cruised through the parade back then...got it recorded on an old Beta video tape somewhere around here. Can't wait for Mule Days to hurry up and get here later this month! lol =)

Nah, we was trying to get that cop to clock our horses when we ran by full blast. He said he couldn't at the angle he was setting.
Nice guy actual.
Clancy and I had an awesome time there.

i can not believe i missed it =[
... i was up north and not able to make it...
i am deff coming next year!! even though i dnt have a horse :(, maybe i can borrow my neighboors? lol...

Yeah its a shame you missed it. It was my first time going and it was one of the better things I have done in a long time! I will be back next year for sure!
