Mind reading is no longer science fiction. IBM scientists are researching how to link your brain to your devices, such as a computer or a smartphone, so you just need to think about calling someone and it happens.

Actually, this is creepy. Mind reading doesn't only mean using a computer by only thinking about it. It also means reading other people's minds.

@Newbie1818 not really, in my local engineering school, a team joined microsoft's imagine cup with a project that sounds alot like science fiction. it was the ability to control handicap chair with only your eye and mind, equipped with a helmet to read some really basic signals from brain and a camera to detect the vision direction. they later extended the project to control a computer, a regular computer without using hands or voice, but just with the same technique.

Am I the only one who thinks that, in 50 years, people will look at these videos and laugh at our naives predictions just like we laugh when we watch 50's "future" movie?
