@dynamicpj1 Hitler and his ilk were actually Fascists, they detested Communists, that's why they killed them in street battles and packed them off to die in concentration camps, but believe it or not near the end of Downfall he actually expresses slight admiration for the Soviets, he calls them 'the disciplined people of the East'.

@Johnny99112 In real life Goebbels and Bormann were the only occupants of the bunker who remained loyal to Hitler to the very end, Goebbels was Chancellor for one day after Hitler shot himself (see the scene where he rants at his generals after they try to surrender to Zhukov)
