Go on a personal walking tour of New York City's Five Points, the setting of BBC America's all new original series COPPER, with Series Co-Creator and Executive Producer, Emmy® Award-Winner Tom Fontana (Homicide: Life on the Streets, Oz).

Explore the birth of this famous slum - and what remains in 2012 Manhattan! - in this one-of-a-kind, personal history lesson.

See what's left of Collect Pond, and discover where, and why, Detective Kevin Corcoran lives on Mulberry Bend, "the worst spot you could live in."

Don't miss the World Premiere of COPPER, Sunday August 19 at 10/9c only on BBC America.

COPPER is a gripping cop drama set in 1860s New York City, and centers on Kevin Corcoran, an intense, rugged Irish-immigrant cop working the city's notorious Five Points neighborhood. Corcoran is struggling to maintain his moral compass in a turbulent world while on an emotional and relentless quest to learn the truth about the disappearance of his wife and the death of his daughter.

COPPER stars Tom Weston-Jones (MI-5) and Franka Potente (The Bourne Supremacy, Run Lola Run). The series is created by Fontana and Academy Award®-nominee Will Rokos (Monster's Ball, Southland), and executive produced by Academy Award® Winner BARRY LEVINSON (Good Morning Vietnam, Rain Man).

Weird, on several of the successive viewings, an additional background soundtrack plays while on others there is none!

It is fascinating to learn the real history behind the amazing dramatization in the movie - a fascinating part of American history!

Nice, but can you make the background music any louder? Then it would successfully totally obscure the dialogue!
