The songs that were stolen were just forgotten, the band agreed they didnt really like the songs and it didnt sound like green day, so they started fresh and american idiot came out. Pretty lucky they got stolen, although i would like to hear them.

I discovered the band on my ipod(my brother bought the album and I added it and listened) and thought hey they sound like the old green day and then I find out this? I find out they are sell outs. They haven't changed their music over the years. The Beatles didn't form a other band to play their old stuff so cut the changing style crap. They've sold.

oh yes! they are sellouts from the punk scene, when they signed onto Warner records in 1993. i believe many will agree with me when i say that altering your sound does not consitiute as "selling out" - even the Beatles changed their sound over time.

i will respect any artist for doing what they believe in, even if i dont like the music personally. it would do you some good if you grew up. i think we're done here :)
