Backstage Crush Chapter 10 pt 2

“Okay okay! You win!” she cried after a desperate struggle and uncontrollable laughter. Kevin backed off, kneeling on the ground in front of her, his legs in-between hers.
“Victory!” He softly yelled.
Katie sat up and fixed her shirt that had moved sideways during their struggle.
“For now, your victorious Kevin Jonas, for now.”
“And what do I get for my win?”
“This.” Katie leaned forward as if to kiss him. She could tell that’s what he was expecting, so she grabbed the pillow next to her once he closed his eyes, and hit him square in the face.
“Hey!” he yelled, opening his eyes.
“Shh! You’ll wake the whole floor.” Katie said, laughing at his shock.
Kevin laughed too, and stood up, taking hold of her hands.
“Come on, let’s get this bed made up for you. It’s almost midnight and you have your last first day tomorrow.”
“Yay me.”
“Haha. Okay take those cushions off and throw them in the corner.” Kevin instructed.
Katie did as she was told, and watched as Kevin pulled the bed out from under the couch. His muscles flexed as he gripped the metal bars and pulled upward. Katie found herself holding onto the chair for support.
“There. Now I think there are some pillows in the closet over here, and you’re all set.” Kevin walked over to the closet and pulled out two pillows. He threw them on the bed and walked over to the other side of the room where Katie was standing. She turned to face him and let him take her hands up in his.
“I had fun tonight, even though you had to tell that girl off, and run around New York away from all our crazy fans.”
“That’s what made it fun, Kev. And remember, your fans only do, what they do, ‘cause they love you.”
Kevin leaned down and kissed her. She kissed back, no wanting the feeling she had when she was with him to ever go away. After a few seconds, Kevin pulled back.
“Be my girlfriend Katie?” he asked.
“I-I.. Oh my God Kev, I don’t know what to say. Like, as creepy as this sounds, I have actually dreamt about this, but I never pictured it happening.”
“Well it is happening, and to tell you the truth, I’ve dreamt about this day to. But that’s another story for another day, please, say yes.”
