History comes alive in this turn-of-the-century town. Features include a sheriff's office, jail, dress shop, blacksmith, 1800's grave yard, gun fighters and a schoolhouse displayed as it was once used. A fun place to visit if you love history or antiques.

Many original buildings were salvaged and saved and brought in from all around Arizona. A real feeling of what life must have been like back when we still worried about Indian raids and black lung death from working those mines.

If you enjoy looking at the past, then this would be a nice place to visit. Dirty, dusty, rustic and real...Pioneer Living History Village is a very authentic Old West town.

  • @cawboybutterball10 we had a great time and will come back soon I'm sure!

  • I'm glad to you enjoyed your visit, I'm a volunteer docent / gunfighter at Pioneer. At present Pioneer is in summer hrs. and with school out (we get hundreds of kids a day) it's a good time to visit. Even with the heat we are getting school groups and doing gun safety talks and cowboy action shoot outs for the visiting public. We are also going thru much needed upgrades at present and will open in the Fall better than ever. We have Haunted Trolley tours each Friday night 6-9. Please come again.

  • @SquareFootGardening5 Thank you :)

  • Very nice video!!

  • @krazy45cat thanks for watching! I know this one was quite long. We spent a good amount of time here and still had the feeling that we needed to come back to check out what we may have missed. I was drooling over all thier old polw equipment as I think it would look great as yard art where I live. Again, glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching!

  • Great Video !!!
