I was disappointed that "Violets" didn't have a commentary track, because Ed is usually so good about giving behind the scenes info. He's on the cusp of greatness.... He just needs to find his great story, and then tell it.

I'm a HUGE Ed fan. I give Purple Violets a B-. I have it on my ipod and watched it 3 times. It was OK except the constant cussing of Patrick Wilson's girlfriend. Very annoying! Also- it was lame how Debra Messing and Ed broke up in college over her mis-understand and then suddenly get back together like 20 years later. Unrealistic. I would have loved to Ed act in more movies! I doubt he'll make anymore of his own movies. Some are good but most of them bomb
