@CarbonNation You're a bit confused. Kenny King's had the Cleveland-area KFC franchise rights. KFC did not start out as Kenny King's, but in Cleveland, that was the only place where we could get it. Gradually, KFC started opening their own places, then cancelled the agreement with Kenny King's, which killed the chain.

@dpotter79 There was a Kenny Kings on the corner of Pearl Road (Route 42) and W. 130th on the Middleburg Heights/Parma Heights border.

@CarbonNation I use to go the Kenny Kings on the corner of Hopkins and 20 every Sat. morning with my dad. We liked the Big King better than Manners, they also had a pirate treasure box kids could reach in and get a small toy. Across the street was Charlie's Drive in.

I remember kenny king's and red barn,Red Barn had the best chicken ever, Kenny King's was okay but they had nothing on Red Barn's chicken.

...and if you were a kid and cleaned your plate they gave you a toy. I got a pipe that expelled a powder like substance that looked like smoke. I've been smoking ever since. Try that today with all the anti- smoking nannies.

My first home, when I was a kid, was right across the street from a Kenny Kings on Euclid Avenue. I thought the rest of the world knew what Kenny King's was too, but I guess it was only in Cleveland.
