yeah, the nfl is weary of the spread offense, probably because the tight ends don't block and they fear injury for the receivers and the qbs with out extra protection. yes, 5' 11" is a little short, can't deny that. missouri's offense ran around the short screen. not too many deep bombs. however, what makes georgia's qb or kansas state's qb any better? they got drafted in the first round. this guy can run with the ball pretty well too. that could work wonders on 3rd and 4th and short.

The same reason a lot of productive college QBs dont get drafted. They dont run spread, he's short, and his arm strength is questionable among other things. While he could be good, there arent many teams that are willing to spend a lot of money on a draft pick to figure that out.
