I read the book - it's inspiring, and John Wood is an awesome human being. Been to Nepal as well - of all my travels, I have to say, the Nepalese are the kindest people I've ever met : )

That's fantastic!
I tried to start a small project before, doing a few stand up gigs, talking about third world countries at the same time. The donations were summed up to about 10 000 Swedish kronor - which is about 1500$. It might not have been that much, but it felt as if it was. I talked to a lot of nice people after the show, and it inspired me to move on.
I think it's great that you sat down and wrote something that'll inspire others to try and do what you did. Fantastic!
