  • Excelentes videos para aprender ingles. Gracias Jennifer los subtitulos me han ayudado mucho para aprender a entenderlo y escribir el ingles...thank you!! Happy new year desde Mexico. Excelente maestra :)

  • @raffa117

You're welcome. Happy New Year to you, too!

  • Excuse me yet.Does "What good is it?" mean "What does this do?"?

    Thank you.

  • An interesting question! So much depends on context. I suppose in some situations those two questions could mean the same thing, but they do have different meanings all by themselves.

What good is it? = This has a negative tone and questions the usefulness of something. For example, I might say, "I know how to speak Pig Latin, but what good is it? There's no practical use for it."

What does this do? = You're asking about the purpose or function: "What does this (switch) do?"

  • Caption are TERRIFIC. NICE JOB THANK YOU. SUBTITLES ARE SOO HELPFUL!!!

  • @manuzzio

I'm glad the subtitles/ captions help. After watching this version, try watching once without captions. That version is listed in the video description.

    Regards,

    Jennifer
