@Taud Not all the people who were involved with Diablo 2 left. Also Jay Wilson who is in charge of Diablo 3 was not only a huge fan of Diablo 2, but was heavily involved in the community when it was in its prime. Having someone so strongly familiar with the series now working on the lastest instalment isnt a bad thing. Also StarCraft 2, as far as i know, was in the making for just as long, and it is a huge success. I mean... you think it looks outdated? You've seen Torchlight right?

Umm, guys diablo (from my experience) is very armor based i remembered how a level 9 can kick a level 50 ass no sweat. it is hack and slash, but it is very vry equipment based as well as skill based (mostly equipment i think)
