This song brings back memories from my days as a young boy at my grandparents home. Mamaw had an am radio that sat in the kitchen window sill. This song was one of many that filled that kitchen with with the power of God. Papa played guitar and sang. I remember him playing and singing "Want It Be Wonderful There" in church.
They have both "Gone Home", but will always be alive and well in my memories.
I wll agree that Flatt and Scruggs, along with Curley Scheckler & Paul Warren are the best.
