The Final leg of the Great Excursion Adventure rolling west of Big Springs Nebraska through Julesburg, CO the mighty Union Pacific 844 makes its way back home to Cheyenne, Wyo. on Saturday the 4th of July weekend. After a visit to Little Rock, Ark. and then in Omaha for the College World Series. 844 is the last Steam Locomotive built for the Union Pacific The engine and tender weigh 454 tons and are more than 114 feet long with 80 inch diameter driving wheels.
