The leading loco is 2819, a Queensland Railways 2800 class and is the only one of the 50 strong class on standard gauge, the rest are still in Queensland on the skinny guage.
yes the first one of the queensland i am not to shure where they are built but run in queensland of course and yes a very lovely locomitive to drive and yes the the el s back to back love it

Rather a light load for so much head end power and even an old Bluebird gets a gig.I guess much of our local freight action is done under the cover of darkness.
