You guys don't know what "delicacy" means. Caviar is a delicacy. Real wasabi is a delicacy. But herring, which is eaten by people all over Europe (not just Sweden!), is an abundant fish and NOT a delicacy.

The smell is horrific but it tastes nothing like the smell.. it has a salty , and ONLY salty taste.
