Tourists watch as the 70 meters (220 feet) front wall of the glacier Perito Moreno breaks down Sunday, March 14, 2003 for the first time in 16 years in Lago Argentino, some 3,200 kilometers, (2,000 miles) southwest of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

  • It's amazing, that's why they are clapping. And for the record, this is a natural process that happens as long as the summer is warmer than the winter. Stop being such killjoys who have no actual knowledge of natures cycles prior to Al Gore's grotesquely overstated documentary. Don't like that the world changes? Get this: 99% of all species that have ever lived on planet Earth have gone extinct thanks to our planet alone, not humanity. That is nature, deal with it.

  • Just go to 2:25 for the part you're waiting for.

  • Clapping? THERE CLAPPING! WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO? WE ARE KILLING INNOCENT POLAR BEARS AND PEOPLE ARE CLAPPING?!

  • drop some jelly in to water to seal it up hahaah

  • om namachivaya,, wonderful

  • wtf they're clapping for? it's just an act of nature. they wouldn't be clapping if people die in the hands of mother nature because of their ignorance and stupidity. many cases of people go near glaciers and lose their lives. what looks wonderful to u may be the worst killer.

  • not normal

the first time i see it was at scool

    this is sooooo nice

  • 120p nice.. but yes nice show ;)

  • I know it has been said here, but... AFAIK the glacier is not melting. It has expanded (it does so cyclically) and has reached the shore, so the ice hits the shore and breaks. That's it. I don't think there's any melting involved in this. BTW, it has nothing to do with Global Warming.

  • Yeah.

  • so sad to me if the glaciers is melting .. "GLOBAL WARMING"

  • @InSaneTK What you say may be true, but I believe there is a good chance that humans are accelerating climate change, global warming, to be exact. There is also the devastation caused by global pollution of land and sea. Ninety percent of the oceans large fish are gone. That is not natural. That kind of devestation is all too human.
