Tessa's pov

I woke up in Joe's arms but I was holding Nick's hand and believe me, I was confused. I felt Nick stir and immediately shut my eyes not wanting to deal with the drama this early. I felt him get up quietly and kiss my forehead. I couldn't help but smile a little. I mean all was defientally not forgivin but I believed things could get back to normal. Not after how badly he had hurt me.

She's an underdog, she lives next door to me...
"Hello" I answered my phone after rocking out to my ringtone.
"Hey beautiul, whats up?" I heard Nick say.
"Just checking my email, you?"
"Just doing soundcheck..."
He was still talking but I started to read an article.
I clicked on a link to oceanUP and the first thing I saw was a picture of Nick. I smiled until I read on.
NICK JONAS DATING MILEY CYRUS!?
I clicked the newest link and saw a big picture of MY boyfriend kissing a blonde haired bimbo!
I thought about it for a few seconds. They could be photoshopped.
Nope there were a few of them and they were in the same place just different angles.
They're old.
No again. He was wearing the chain with our initials on it that I had given him the day he left.
I couldn't hear anything, I couldn't see or even breath.
I dropped the phone and it shut, hanging up on him.
She's an underdog, she lives next door to me... started playing.
I hit ignore and immediately called Rae and Liz.

"Tess?" Joe whispered pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Morning" I said rolling to face him.
Suddenly there was yelling. Rae walked out the door shutting it loudly.
Me and Joe pretended to sleep again. Nick ran out, calling after her.
"What was that about?" Joe whispered confused
"No idea" I said getting up and stretching. Suddenly Joe got a strange look in his eye.
"Oh no"
"Oh YES!" he yelled as he started tickling me
"Joe! Stop! Please!" I gasped through laughing
He picked me up over his shoulder and raced towards the kitchen, obviously forgetting Liz was on the floor. He fell forward tossing me onto the couch but then losing his balance and crashing down on me. We both immediately started laughing.
"You have the FUNNIEST laugh!" Liz called from under her blanket "But PLEASE shut up!"
"You know Kevin's in the kitchen...with coffee" Joe teased
"By guys!" She called already racing out of the room.
Suddenly Nick came bursting through the front door and stomped upstairs, clearly upset.
"Uh Joe..." I said "I should go talk to him"
"Yeah..." He mumbled, letting me up. "I'll see you later"
I heard him call as I followed Nick.
Part of me was telling me to run back to Joe but me and Nick had so much left unsaid I knew I had to talk with him.
"Nick" I called tapping on his door.
"What?" he snapped, opening it while glaring at me. I got upset right away. He looked so mad and I didn't know what I did. Tears leaked out of the corners of my eyes.
"Oh gosh Tessy!" He said shocked "I didn't know it was you!" He whisped as he hugged me.
For some reason I felt safe in his arms, like it was where I should be. Then my mind jumped to Joe and I was instantly confused again.
