@AYdeJeezy Yes, you can adjust manual focus during live recording,. You may have to first set the camera to manual, and go into settings to set Manual Focus only

why nex3 videos on tube looks better than nex5?

i have a sony nex3 and its set on 720 fine for the video. and i have sony vegas movie studio platinum and for whatever reason it doesnt want to play or let me edit what i record with out converting it first from mp4 to mwv. is there a software that i can use that i wont have to convert everything i record? is anyone know please respond thanks

@JRPstudent Sensor and lens are clean, just checked. As I said, the pictures are great the problem is only in video mode. It gets better when using VGA( 600x400) mode, so it looks like the data transfer is not fast enough. Im getting the memory card today.

@HDbloger Your sensor might be dirty, take off the lens and try to clean it be careful though
