Frye Art Museum "Your Best" by Andrew McKibben

This video featured in the teen exhibition "Metaphorically Speaking," at the Frye Art Museum. Students studied the work of Willie Cole, in the exhibition "Willie Cole's Favorite Brands." They extended Cole's ideas of materiality to consider materials inherent, reactive and metaphorical aspects. In this piece, the student was particularly interested in using light as material, more specifically how one can use light to create an illusion of movement and life in a sculpture.
