Top 100 video game music: F-Zero Final Mix #7

F-Zero, F-zero X and F-Zero GX all have amazing soundtracks but i'm more of a fan of X because of it's electric Guitar/ Metal themes. GX songs are more techno like but are still good in my opinion....

That's the Shamisan you're hearing, a traditional Japanese instrument. I think it makes pretty good rock music if played like that, but you almost never hear it used in anything.

It's ShamisEn.
Since, it's a folk/traditional instrument it's in fact very unlikely to hear it in something else then traditional music.
You can hear it a lot in anime (Naruto, just to name one, in Jiraiya's theme) and in some videogames.

This game don't have fantastic graphics, but all others aspects are fantastic!!! I hope someday the emulation of the Expansion Kit become possible...

classic F-ZeroX, loved this game. in a way I kinda like this better than GX, maybe cus I've played this more.

Wonder when a new F-Zero will come out on wii? should be interesting if you can use the steering wheel
