Hi DSA. Thanks for catching this for me. As I mentioned below (using my friend Randy's account), this variation is heavily entrenched in many communities - so much so that many of us didn't even know it was a variation. Had I known better, I would have clarified this in my instruction. Teaching the original step sheet would have caused confusion in my community. I'm glad that you and Larry and Sue were available to clarify.
Instructor does not quite have it right. On the 19th and 27th (of 32) steps he is teaching a cross in front while the choreographer called for a vine in back.
Thanks for letting me know about that difference from the step sheet. There are entire communities that do it this way, and I'm a member of one of them, so teaching the original version would have created confusion. Had I known, however, I would have made that clear in this video.
I agree with Larry. The &3 under the Heel Jacks section is written with your left foot crossing behind your right and then on &4, you cross your left foot over your right. I find it very awkward doing it the way you're teaching it. Also, there are no hand claps at the end of the first section. If you want to put them in during your classes, I can understand that, but I think you should do it the way it's written when demonstrating it on You Tube.

You do realize that you are not teaching it by the choreographers step sheet, right?
