  • Hi dude! Please answer me a simple question. How can i hide the triangle lines from the mesh? How you did?

    good tutorial!

  • @ilovehd831 because making planes with textures is MUCH more flexible for a modeler than using the built in bg viewport options.

  • @msborat96 hey, I had the same problem. got to Customize > Preferences > Viewports > Configure Driver... and under Download Texture Size, make sure to check the box that says "match bitmap size as closely as possible." Also, if you are on Vista/7 make sure to run the program as admin, or else your settings wont save

  • Sir iwkya1, you are simply brilliant... Your confidence and knowledge in 3ds is magic!

You teach the way i need to be taught :)

    respect.

  • @Jarzka1990 The vector file costs 10 credits, however just below the first "athletic Male' there is another 'athletic male' file which is the gif image used in this tute. It is free but you have to log in to be able to download the full size image. (if you don't log in it will only downlaod a 500px max file)

  • thanks a lot!!! :)

  • For those who have a problem with blue-prints images, you HAVE to register first, then you can right click the image you want and save as, because if you're not a member you'll only get a small version of the image, hope this helps you on the way

  • @Jarzka1990 some are some are not

  • Nevermind I found it :-)

needed to select and press F3

  • I have a question.

How come I can't see the faces in front view? I only see the edges...

I noticed you pressed something and you said ''here we go'' and made it visible but you didn't mention it, at 6:46.

Great tutorial easy to follow thank you!

  • @Nesoism

    much obliged :D
