Haters will hate but we all crave the old RuneScape times. Nothing brightens my day more than reviving my 6 year old memories of my first RuneScape days. Where you formed gangs with friends, instead of massive clans. Where nothing was restricted or sophisticated. Where you did quests without having RuneScape Wikia open. Well, it was nice at the time but now... scammers, money doublers, real world traders, lurers, merchanting clans and scum. Everybody is trying to rip off everybody.

Everything seemed so excitedly blown out of proportion when I played this game as a child, seeing as it was my first RPG. I found this new genre to be fascinating! Just about every quest or quest/boss battle was an adventure, not to mention having more patience for skill farming. It was a time of innocence and my first steps into the world of RPG gaming. It's times like this when I miss my childhood...

I remember everything...

Rushing to my computer after elementary/middle school in excitement for getting a bit further in my quests...

All the tediously long steps and skill grinding for the Lost city quest, but I had patience...

Going underground on the island to wage an epic battle with the seemingly hard tree spirit boss to carve the Staff of Zanaris...

and finally going balistic when I could finally go into Zanaris with the staff through the shack in the swamp southwest of Lumbridge.
