I spent the first eight years of my life on this island and they were certainly the happiest! Nice photography and a good choice of accompanying music - Karen Matheson and Capercaillie.

I don't know. It looks cold, barren and windy. I can see why my mom's ancestors left Islay in the late 1700's.

These are lovely photos :) All of my family iriginated from Islay x My Grandfathers ashes are scattered there too at the port of Portnahaven also in this video i can see his house :)
