I grew up in St.Louis in the 1960's and I saw the progress of the construction of the arch. It was awesome to see the support between the two legs to hold them apart as they neared the top. The first time I went up in the Arch was in the late 80's with "my two daughters" when they were children. (This all tells you my age.) I love seeing the Arch each time I travel to St.Louis from here in Tennessee. The St.Louis Arch will always be small part of me.

Getting up in the arch isn't that amazing, the museum is way more interesting. The elevator ride is fun though!

Yeah, but this was november/Thanksgiving, so it was closed for the season. I could seriously go for a rollercoaster ride though!
