Context:
When I smashed the bauble, you can see I didn't look immediately concerned, it was the realisation that it was the only one of its kind that quickly dawned on me. We were however able to use it for the other close-ups because it was only smashed on one side.

The dude opening the whiskey cupboard and pulling crazy ass faces is Ciaran, my cinematographer. The first time he's testing to see if the shot works, and the next one is after I've done a performance and he's super happy for no real reason.

The whiskey I'm glugging is real whiskey, but the glugging is fake, which is why it goes everywhere. It would have been very impractical to have ingested that much alcohol at the beginning of a shooting day. Also, my body doesn't deal with alcohol well, so I would have been very ill. I don't know why I used real whiskey, it was stupid, especially considering how many takes I did. I think the industry standard to fake it is ice tea or something. That would have been smarter. As it happened I only got numb gums and lips and wet-from-whiskey boxers.

The reason I asked about pouring it away is because Ciaran sourced the bottle from his parents (without their knowledge) and between takes we were pouring what was left back into the bottle for better continuity. I don't know if he replaced the bottle of whisky and my backwash, or simply returned it. I have been too afraid to ask.
