On July 5/ 1992 one of the Helix vehicles crashed in the mountains in British Columbia, Canada, after the last performance of the tour in Vancouver. The guys crashed about 3 hours after our gig that night after falling asleep at the wheel. No booze or drugs were involved and no charges were ever laid. This is Daryl Gray's account of what happened that night. Paul Hackman is gone but not forgotten - R.I.P. buddy - from all of us, you are sorely missed.
Filmed April 5/2010 - our first chance to ever visit the crash site.
I knew I'ld be saddened after watching this video. This must have been hard for you guys. Thanx for sharing this Brian. R.I.P. Paul.

Is this road marked with any designation stating we lost Paul here? I am obligated to drive here and take my hat off to Paul, as he was influential not only as a guitarist, but as a human being as well. Damn, I still cant believe he's gone.....R.I.P Paul. Cheers

I bet this was an extremely hard video to make (emotionally) and hard for us to watch without grabbing a tissue. Bright Blessings to you guys and know Paul is still rocking with you with the same passion as always.

I feel lucky to have met Paul (and the rest of the band) in 1985 after their show in Kingston, ON. Paul listened to me ramble on about whatever it was I talked about, and seemed really interested in what I had to say (like the rest of the band I must add), no "Rock Star" attitudes, just a bunch of guys who played music and appreciated their fans. R.I.P. Paul, you are missed, but not forgotten.
