@MichiganMade Motown was locked into "pop factory" mode, they couldn't see that the scene was changing but when they slumped into financial difficulty Stevie actually bailed them out.

@hotvision I know right. Irritating. Love this man, he's my inspiration to "look" at things differently.

Thank You for all the posts of this album. To my ears this was his transition, from "Little Stevie Wonder", into I am Stevie the MONSTER. I have something to say, Like Marvin, timeless social commentary, and timeless music. I have looked for this "LP" for years. No where to be found. I really appreciate hearing this music.

I never hear anybody talk about Stevie Wonder's 1971 album, "Where I'm Coming From". I think Stevie was changing and Motown may have slept it, but for those you know, here's, "Do Yourself A Favor"

@mariam199 I think he says 'get your FUNKY self together'. He's not the type to swear, especially not in his songs.

This i remember was from the 1989 compilation cassette "For once in my life ". A rare thing you can find. We had that. It also had songs "down to earth", "hey love", "the title compilation track "for once in my life", and "give your love".
