"Nabi Muhammad (SA) has prophesised that 'You will make an alliance with Rum'. Indeed there is a Surah of the Qur'an which is entitled Surah Ar-Rum. And in that Surah, in the first Ayah, Allah speaks about Rum being defeated. If you believe that Allah (SWT) was referring to a city in Italy then you should buy a one way ticket to Disneyland.
When the Qur'an says that Rum has been defeated, was referring to a city in Italy called Rome? Oh come one, what kind of scholarship is that? And when the Qur'an refers to Rum you translate it as Romans? Is that the correct translation, Romans?

Rum in the Qur'an is easy to identify. It is the 'Eastern Orthodox Christian Church'; which had established the Byzantine Empire with Constantinople as its capital...
Prophet (SA) said 'You will make an alliance with Rum'. The Byzantine Empire has disappeared today, but the 'Eastern Orthodox Christian Church' has not. If we want to find Rum, where is the 'Eastern Orthodox Christian Church' today?
Answer, the headquarters is now in Russia. If I am wrong I invite you to correct me. And so when the Prophet (SA) said, 'You will make an alliance with Rum', my answer is its going to be an alliance with Russia. .."

masha Allah. That the muslims will seek alliance with Russia is amazing.. as that is exactly what is now taking place. The people of Russia have aligned themselves against their leaders and against NATO in the wars of aggression in the Middle East and Africa. Russia represents the last great power against the other evil in the western world. Time will tell.

Many awliya (saints) in Turkey predicted this in different period of times. Years years ago. The war between east and west. West will win. of course with massive casualties and loss. Turkey will break off ties with nato and make an allience with Rum (Russia) But russia is going to invade Istanbul! Actually when we conquered Istanbul first a saint told to Sultan Mehmed the 2nd. First you are gonna conquer it then Rum is going to invade then the Mahdi will conquer it without fighting.

hmm Rum could be could be present day Turkey or the balkans ......The Balkans never did like the Western Catholic churches . Turkey relations with Nato is strong so it's still a STALMATE

@nmuhmin Sorry the only power left against evil is the authentic Islam and the true Muslims. until Muslims start thinking in those line that they are the greatest power Allah (swt) put on planet earth, they will never stop the evil.

Russia is part of the evil that will join all the other evils and attack the Muslims.  it was done before and will be done again.
