this is my first apartment in shanghai,I bought it in mar 2007,and redecorated in may and july 2007.and I designed it,I bought a lot of furnitures in ikea shanghai,and it was displayed in a famous decoration magazine of shanghai.now I upload it to share for you all.

It's definitely tough for RMB 3000 to 4000 around the Bund.maybe you have to add one more zero:30000 to 40000 RMB,just a joke!maybe not that high,I think you can pick a studio around the Bund for about 15K RMB.

It depends what apartment you want,basically you need pay 1.5K-2.0K RMB per month for a apartment with 1 bedroom,and its location about 1-1.5 hour subway from the center of shanghai.
