Oh what a Web

We had been driving all night. I was tired, but couldn't sleep. There was an electric feeling throughout my body. A feeling I've experienced only once before. I turned back some pages in my journal and searched for the entry.


Dear Dreamer,
There aren't enough words to describe how I'm feeling tonight. I went to Karaoke night at the Bean House with Kevin and Reighlei. We were having such a good time laughing and joking around and then the next minute I was up on stage singing my heart out. I don't know how it happened. I have always loved music but to sing in front of a crowd was never an option. Kevin has always encouraged me to brake free and feel the music and tonight I have done just that.
There is this electric feeling throughout my body; A combination of nerves and excitement. I've never felt this way before, and I have one person to thank.

I closed my eyes, remembering the night so clearly; My thoughts, My feelings, My actions. It was the day I became Music, The day I started living life. It was the day I fell in love with Kevin. He was the one person that has always seen me for who I am. That was the day that changed my life forever.
Somewhere throughout my daydreaming I had fallen asleep on the couch, only to be woken up the next morning to the sound of crunching in my ears. FRANKIE! Reighlei always encouraged him to annoy me.

"Frankie?" I said, one eye opened and half awake.

"Yessss"

"STOP"

"OhKaaay, but you shouldn't be mad at me. Joe was reading your Journal."

"Oh! Not cool man. Thanks a lot buddy." Joe said shoving Frankie on the couch.

I didn't say anything. I would have liked to, but that required thinking up something clever, and I wasn't in the mood. I dodged groups of toys on the floor and fell into a wide awake Denise.

"Oh good you're awake. I wanted to talk to you. I'm so glad Kevin finally told you." She said giving me a hug.

"Told me what?" I said looking confused.

"Denise! Will you come here for a minute?" Yelled Kevin Sr. from the back. Knowing his sons all too well, he knew Kevin didn't say anything.

I shrugged it off and headed for my bunk. I had to get a little sleep before we hit New York. Of course my dreaming got the better of me. For the last two hours, all I could do was think of how amazing this experience has been. I was suddenly started by my phone. It was a text from my older brother Braydon.

*go online, ur all over the web* I screamed and nearly fell out of my bunk.

"Either she has news or we left the toilet seat up again" Joe said laughing.

"Nah, she's got news. Wait for it!" Kevin said convinced.

I ran down the hall and scooted next to Kevin. He was sitting at one of the side tables on the computer.
"I've got news!" I screamed. "Google me!!"

"See!" Kevin said "She's got news!"

"Braydon just sent me a text, IM ONLINE!"

"That's awesome" Nick said coming over to hug me. "We're so proud of you."

There were dozens of fan made sites and pictures from the concerts. I couldn't hold the excitement in. I was finally becoming the person I wanted to be. Nothing could take this moment from me. I turned and smiled at Kevin. I hugged him, and didn't let go. At that moment nothing mattered.

"Thank You" I said staring up at him.

"Okay guys" Denise said interrupting our stare. "I know we're all excited but we'll be in New York in about an hour. Get ready and make sure you have a bag packed. And please, someone help Frankie"
