SEGA should take this engine and remake Streets of Rage with it. They could put it up on XBLA/PSN to have a smaller/more personal project and maximize profits.

I just posted in SEGA's forum to put this game out on XBLA/PSN. This would be great. The game already has the on-line and 4 player co-op when made for the orig Xbox. I agree why not? This game would make a killing on XBLA/PSN. It can also have new downloadable content for new levels and characters. Peace!

@nightsdreamparadox - Yeah, I heard that too. Honestly I wouldn't be the least bit surprised. Yuzo Koshiro should make more games thru smaller channels, like XBLA & PSN. I know he has a game out on 360 Indie Games, but he needs to make more, with slightly higher production values. Maybe join up with Arc System works and make a really awesome HD action side-scrolling game or something.

@Guernicaman When Yuzo Koshiro pitched SOR4 to them, rumor says the Sega of America management simply had no idea what SOR was.

Yeah, I heard that rumor too, but no word on it in ages makes me wonder if it was real or if the project was ever canned. I sure hope not! I'd LOVE to see a Streets of Rage game on XBLA/PSN. Who knows? If Sonic 4 is a hit, SEGA might very well do this. They're putting out After Burner Climax and already hve OutRun 2 on XBLA/PSN. Maybe they could revive titles like Alien Syndrome & Space Harrier on that same platform. Surely Streets of Rage could follow suit.

@Guernicaman I heard rumor that they are redoing the first SOR with 3d graphics but 2.5D gameplay. somthing was said about an announcement at E3 or after the launch of Sonic 4.

@massivewad do explain you Sony conspiracy... as far as i can tell Sony has had nothing against any games (save for anything 2d not made by Capcom or SNK, why they hate 2d I will never know)
