The viewing area around the new aye-aye exhibit in the Zoo's Primate Reserve is so dark that you literally can not see your hand in front of your face! Of course, inside the exhibit is also dark since aye-ayes are nocturnal animals.
The aye-ayes do not come out of their sleeping boxes until around 10:30 in the morning, well after the lights have been turned off, so this video is the best I could produce, even using my camera's super nightshot and nightlight features.
But if you look closely, you can see the female as she plays with hanging boxes and searches for treats in them. At times, you can see her eyes glowing in the dark.
