it was there here the future of Brittain would be decided, NOW not only Brittain but Europe, even the WORLD

, if great brittan failed -> french would be victorious over Spain and Portugal and so Napoleon could used his HOLE ARMY AGAINST RUSSIA and conquered the rest of the world

@turner2123 You are correct, the Trafalgar was very important. However I strongly doubt that Napoleon would succeed capturing Russia, no matter how big his force was. Russia is Russia, can't get away from it :)

@Strategos300 well in fact Napoleon attacked some russian lands and later he forced Russia an alliance with France

Napoleon did become good friends with the russian leader Alexander. The russian Alexander promised to handle Austria (disarming, etc) while Napoleon would went to Spain but because of Great Brittain they forced Russia to choice their side and help the austrians so after it Napoleon declared war on Russia and tried to invade it

-> without Great-Brittain now French invasion of Russia

@turner2123 Russia declared war on Napoleon for two reasons:

During Napoleons and Alexanders alliance, Napoleon demanded the Russia would join the continental blockade on Britain. Russia had to stop trading with Britain. After a while with this blockade, Russia had to break it, because they needed English trade. So they turned agsint France.

Now the second. Napoleon attacked Oldenburg in Germany without knowing it was a Russian protectorate.
