The Corys and friends gather to celebrate Amanda's homecoming, but troubles are the order of the day, as Mitch feels guilty for his damaging testimony at Felicia's trial, which causes Mac to apologize again for his own damaging testimony at Felicia's trial. Felicia tells both men they're not to blame. Matt arrives, upset because Josie is still avoiding him. Mitch and Matt talk, but Matt remains upset. Stacey calls Felicia to meet her and Derek, and Felicia leaves the party to meet with Derek (not shown). Matt is getting ready to go and look for Josie again when she arrives and tells him goodbye, returning the promise ring he gave her. Matt stays at the party and is there when Sam and Amanda arrive with Evan, who is unsteady on his feet after being released from the hospital, causing Ada and Amanda to be concerned. The only no-show is Jamie. Mitch and Sam talk about Sam's role in Amanda's rescue, and afterwards, Sam tells Matt he can tell that Mitch had a rough day in court. Rachel finally arrives, immediately following her confrontation with Iris, and then Iris shows up on Rachel's heels, because of Rachel's ultimatum: tell Mac that Iris was "The Chief," or Rachel will do it herself, because Iris is going on the witness stand at Felicia's trial tomorrow, and Mac is going to be told before the whole town finds out.
