My 1973 AMC AMX Javelin. All original super rare Pierre Cardin one of only few 200 made in 73 in this color, trim and motor combination. Probably one of very few left today. The other one is my Ram Air P code Yellow 1973 AMX 360

Nice rides. However AMC didn't record specific option combination quantities, so while 4000+ PCs were built between 72 and 73, nobody can document how many were built in each year, let alone how many with a specific engine, in a specific color, etc. We can guess, but there's no way to know. Also, Ram Air was never an option on 71+ AMXs. However the Go Package added Functional Cowl Induction among other equipment. Same 'cold air' performance boost, just not the same technique.

Its really annoying how these cars just don't appreciate like other cars of this era. A MINT Mark Donahue Javelin can be bought for only $16,000! And these cars are far more rare a than any other!

I have one also, bought it when I was 17 off a guy that lost his job. 401, t10 Pierre cardin interior 29,000 miles. Your is in better shape mine had front end damage someone fixed didn't repair with the correct cowl induction hood or correct grill. I have them now but still need the factory ralley rims, and correct air cleaner. I had them but put them in a girlfriends garage so they would bounce around in the trunk.. forgot about them and her dad threw them away. of course this was 22 years ago.

That is an awesome Javelin, and you have two?? My first car was a 73 Javelin, same color with a white vinyle top. I loved that car. Can you tell me what it says on the badge you focused in on? I couldn't read it. Your a lucky man. Thanks for sharing.
