Also known as Mr Pace (He organizes the only marathon held in Harare - Mr Pace Marathon - this in December each year), Collen Makaza hails from Zimbabwe. Close friend and former team mate of Stephen Muzhingi, current 3 X Comrades champion, Collen holds numerous world and other records and titles for his exceptional talent at long distance running.
Among these are IAU World 50KM Ultra Champion

As he prepares to commence training to defend his World Title, to be held in August 2011, we look at some of his recent moments and wish him everything of the very best in bringing back the World Champion title for the 2nd year in a row.
