Snow Leopard issues with Expose and Spaces

When using Spaces and Expose some often times the windows jerk into place, get lost, or the blue border is just off ( also you can't select the window when clicking on it if not in the blue box area )

I have problems too. I'm on a mac mini late 2007 version. (Sounds old, but I bought this in 2008).
