What HP tractor do you use and is it adequate?

we use a 20 hp tractor with creper gears (slow speeds are needed for the best tilth with the stone burier)

but we are also rotovating regualy cultavated ground that is soft.

for harder ground you might need abit more power.

for small amounts of land every so often its proberbly just as easy to use a regular rotovator and just rake a fine tilth. where as if you have a fair amount of regular usage for it, it might be a usefull tool to have.

there are some cheaper ones on ebay though i dont know about the build quality or how robust they would be -

this set up's 4 foot wide (purpose built to cover the wheel marks) you could get a smaller set up for less if you dont need the width.

well, we made the one in the vidio-

but the blec stone burriers (which this one is similar to) would be around £5000 plus

I have been enquiring locally what people charge for rotovating and tilling gardens in newly built houses.

The prices range from 300 to 3,000 euro.

Today I heard of someone who got local farmer to do an excellent job on his garden for 50 euro.

So, I'm trying to decide if it's worth getting a machine like yours.

I'm a small builder and usually leave the landscaping to others.
