  • a900 sounds very heavy!

  • @oceanistoosmall The mirror is bigger than on the A700, I'm guessing that's why it has a heavier sound. A900 has a 35mm sensor (full frame) and 100% view in the optical view finder. It is a beautiful camera.

  • Oddly enough, the a700 has a much-better sounding shutter than the a900. The a900 sounds like someone hitting a block of wood for some reason.... :-/

  • @Teraforce88 Probably due to the big ass mirror. :D I agree though, I like A700s sound the most.

A900 doing 5fps is pretty amazing though.. 5 frames per second at 25 megapixels.

  • @le0401 You are an idiot.

When the A900 was released high end DSLRs did not have video, including the D3. Some of them still don't offer video.

Did you get started in photography an hour ago? Or was it less than that? You know nothing about cameras or their feature history.

  • @le0401 Sonar? :P

The camera was designed in 2007-2008, before the DSLR video craze. If you want a DSLR capable of videos, check out Sony A55,A65 or A77.

  • @le0401 It is a great camera though. :P

  • @le0401 wait for a few months, sony are going to launch two new a900 replacements (24MP and 36MP)

  • 700 sounds best,

  • An other Great Camera
