Simpsons Director David Silverman plays the tuba.
This is one of the many extra scenes from the film called Confessions of a Burning Man.
David is a long time part of the Simpsons family, now Supervising Director, as well as being a Co-Director on Monsters Inc, and an avid Burner.
I always wanted to play tuba but I was too skinny

Yeah, the guy is a mad genius. His animation uses expressions nearly as amazing as John K's, but the action is closer to "full" animation than Ren and Stimpy ever got, so I personally feel that he's even closer in spirit to Bob Clampett than most Spumco cartoons.

I photographed David two years in a row without knowing he has brought me and so many others years of laughs on he Simpsons.I hope I see him this year on the playa so I can thank him.

Thank you, thank you! Your playa performance was 10 times better than the Malcom In The Middle show that "borrowed" the theme of the Man, BRC, the Playa... Stop by Art Car Camp for dinner this year, and bring your tuba! -Hunter
