Well, i'm poor as fuck XD
my set is a 500$ used Ludwig element series. with used sabian b8 cymbals and a dw7002 pedal.
My buddy has a 3000 tama set, and a 1500 electric set (he uses it for occasional techno beats)

@Gr1zz3m Maybe because 1500$ isn't much for e-drums. Do you want a real good e-kit, you should buy the roland TD-20.. 6000$ :D, But you're right, xWPxTugg was wrong, and you're right ;)

ive played on a 1500$ kit, and there are a few things i noticed:
1. its impossible to gravity blast
2. you can't do rim shots
3. the bell doesn't make noise
4. you can't choke the cymbal.
-
@augie150 That's not true. Most electronic kits are capable of simulating rim shots and cross sticking just like any other kind of hit.

And it took me a few minutes just to learn how to read drum sheet music and now i can play my favourite song on drums and guitar and bass and more thanks dude.

Would if i am playing a electric drumset, would i play a cross-sticking, probably not

lol. 'so that you're holding. . . . . . the OPPOSITE end of the stick!' not to be rude, but there was a hilarious and unintentional dramatic pause there. Just makes me laugh. his slow speaking makes everything VERY understandable, but it makes him prone to looking a little bit like an overdramatic guy as well. :p

@ShaggyKiller mabey tighten the snare chains?
-
i like the way he makes his "ck" noises like q, k, and c. but he's a good teacher so yeah(: haha
-
this guy teaches me the same stuff as my drum teacher
now i know what and how cross sticking is done... thanks for the vid's
