A rare Audrey Hepburn stamp sold for $93,800 at a German auction Tuesday. The print run was destroyed after Hepburn's son objected to the cigarette holder dangling from the actress' mouth and refused to grant copyright. (May 26)
It's a good sign that humanity is civilized enough to attribute monetary value to things like small pieces of paper instead of things like toe jam and skin. Even though some rare Audrey Hepburn parts would seem more significant.
Its so f* sad & so dispicable that someone bought this piece of paper for what??
why not donate the money to local charities to help homeless children who dont even have water & food. where 's the humanity in that country.??? f* damn none.....
Never mind. :) It's because they changed the original picture. The original had sunglasses not cigarette.

Why did Sean object to the print? It's one of Audrey's most famous photos.
Wow. This is unbelievable, how much it was sold for. When was this auction? :)
