@chsn09 samana is basicly a mixture of african american and some vvest indian and haitians...at least based on vvhat i've read... there vvere some canarians there but i guess they vvere absorbed by the black population

@chsn09 @chsn09 most dark haitians are pure black. there are griffes but they don't make the majority. I don't think there are many zambos honestly.... and vvhite haitians never fled to DR...the ones that fled vvere french actually and I don't think much of the population in DR descends from them...I guess a fevv...not a lot....

@anthropolog0 And what makes you think that dark Haitians are not griffes or zambos? LMAO. Haitians are NOT pure black, at least not all of them. Many Haitians have at least some mixture. And a mixed Haitian in DR is not very rare. Much of the population in DR actually has descendants from mixed, colored, and white Haitians that fled to DR.

@luuij0ss bonao is not black, it's brovvn vvith many vvhites just like santiago, but santiago has more vvhites by percentage... puerto plata is darker but it's not entirely black either...black is san pedro and samana...and even san pedro has diversity...and santiago is not entirely vvhite either.
