  • I meant the fourth part, with all of the burls. BTW, look for the signature green drums to show up in Maxville again this year, being used by the City of Chicago PB in Grade 2.

  • @romoly22 That's a nasty part... most of those birls come from C. It is a good one though I agree. What a great tune.

  • Samee ! I loved the Old Glasgow pipe band my uncle played pipes there :) They were great! Are they still around? I haven't heard them in a long time!

  • Reminds me of an old City of Glasgow Police Pipe Band album that I have, which was recorded in the late '60s I guess, and on which was featured the set of "The Balmoral Highlanders", "Athol Cummers", and "Pretty Marion", and it just had this huge sound to it. With this army of pipers the Frasers' performance here has the same sort of effect for me, reminiscent or evocative of that great old Glasgow Police album track I admired so much.
