We must try our best to preserve these societies... If we try to westernize there way of living, they will turn out like there neighboring cousins in Papua New Guinea! First, they will become alcoholics, then, drug addicts, and with guns, the region will start to get violent... If we leave them the way they are, they will be happy, and recognized... @snapsbacula And do you support the missionaries and even sometimes the pope himself saying that other religions are devil practices ? I have seen videos on youtube where people are being brain washed and have been made to step on religious idols and deface their gods..I still support conversion in a way if it happens voluntarily :)

I am not against any religion..Most of the countries lost their religions due to the converting act of the missionaries..If they want to love and help, plzz, do that and don't convert people from their ancestral faiths..

@ironwillgachi I wouldn't try to convert them to Christianity, but are you saying we shouldn't communicate with the Kombai people? When watching this video, how did you concoct the idea that they were being converted to Christianity?

I don't want to hear the guy sneeze, or the translator, I need to hear the convo, what is your problem?

@aldi0910 There is this thing called editing, you know? processing a film to make the events flow? What did you prefer? to have all the translation between them included? Then you would say it is boring cause I have to wait five minutes for every phrase. Maybe when you go to New Guinea, you can do better?
